Take the red wire from the motion detector and connect it to the black wire coming from the light fixture. Take the black wire coming from the motion detector and connect it to the black wire coming out of the wall. read more
You will see three separate wires attached to the light. There will be a white wire (the neutral wire), a green or copper wire (the ground wire), and a black or red wire (the hot wire). Disconnect all three wires from the current light after testing to make sure they aren’t receiving any power. read more
