Leaving Lima can take sone time due to traffic jams. - Paracas - Huacachina (Ica) 75 KM, 01:15 hours. Again very easy drive. - Ica - Nazca 120 KM 01:40 Hours. The road has some turns, ascents and decents which will practice your ability to bypass big trucks. - Nazca - Arequipa 570 KM which can take more than 10 hours. read more

Driving here is a necessary evil in Lima for convenience purposes (I’m not the biggest fan of taking taxis everywhere or micros for very long distances). Driving is hectic, stressful, and notoriously free from rules or police oversight. read more
