These days, you can have a clinically isolated symptom and a positive MRI and have a full diagnosis of MS (of course, after ruling out everything that can cause that symptom and the white spots on an MRI). read more

If you're unfamiliar with the term, you may want to search 'limboland' and 'limbo' in the healthboards as well. It's what we refer to when we have no diagnosis despite our suspicions. Many MSers spend years in limboland. read more
