The brain is plastic and can take quite a beating. 4 months on Prozac won’t cause anything that cannot be undone. If you are bothered by the side-effects you can just go back to the doctor and bring it up. read more

My OBGYN gave me Prozac about two years ago when I was 44 going on 45 because she said there is no such thing as perimenopause and that some of my complaints "might be depression" though I've never been depressed and have not been diagnosed since.
