You should let it out of its cage to run around, at least once a day. While this may make the lizard happy, be ready to clean up the lizard scat. This may be acceptable especially if you have a mouse problem !-) I have no direct experience with these guys so I am guessing. I don’t know, possibly. I count mites as mites, and I can assure you that there is at least a very big chance that the ones you’ve encountered will gladly find a host of a different reptile species. As a reptile shop, our place’s biggest nightmare is a mite plague. read more
