I can't speak for all Hawaiians, just the few I know. It's a mix. Some do, some don't enjoy “Hawaiian pizza,” in similar proportions to the rest of the pizza-eating world. Well, in Hawaii, you can order one. Any Pizza Hut or other pizza place will allow you to build your own pizza a la carte, and both ham and pineapple are on the list. They also have a Hawaiian chicken pizza on the ready-made menu that has grilled chicken and bell peppers in addition to the ham and pineapple. read more

Some people feel that the two shouldn't be combined and many don't feel that the sweet pineapple belongs, or goes along with the flavors that a pizza should convey.
