In USA what is worse, being homeless or being in prison?

Being in prison is far worse than being homeless. While wandering the streets or the rails may be difficult, at least you'll have your freedom. You won't be locked away from your loved ones; you won't be constantly surround by brutal and dangerous people. read more

It depends what kind of prison. If it isn't a max or super max then I would say being homeless is a lot worse. I've been to rikers island which is a jail not a prison but it wasn't bad at all. read more
