Not popular! I'm from the US and yes there are indian classical music concerts in the US frequently but they are usually small and it's usually indians who come and listen. It's a fringe music. You'll hardly see a Indian music concert in Carnegie hall or at the Metropolitan Opera. It's not nearly as popular as Western Classical Music. read more
