That's an awesome score for anyone, really. As an 8th grader with room to improve, it's as good as you can ask for. Most of the best students at my high school have a score like this. Your writing score will improve with practice--read as much as you can. read more

The average score per section is about 500 amongst high school seniors. So I'd say if an eighth grader can come close to a 1500, then they are definitely off to a good start. read more
