Is a 1440p IPS monitor better than a 4k TN monitor?

What is the primary use of this monitor ? Gaming or Photography ? (or something else.) IPS has better colour than a TN panel. 1440p will have faster framerates on existing hardware, less screen realestate. read more

The high-end one are quite good, true vibrant colours, razer sharp, pixel perfection, IPS monitor. No GSync though, and I would suggest 1440p resolution, not 4K unless SLI. Seriously well calibrated to 99%+ perfection. They will be standard 60Hz though. read more
