Yes, not on purpose. Sometimes they are right behind you or on the stairs at night and they can cause a tripping hazard. They do not have the injury power of dogs. To date I have not found an occurance. read more

Now about your question, I think a large female ball python could kill a cat or small dog in the correct circumstances but even that is HIGHLY unlikely.
