I went to Mouse (computing) on Wikipedia and viewed the article in different languages. My search was limited to languages using the Roman, Cyrillic, Greek, Korean, and Hebrew alphabets as those are the ones I'm familiar with. read more

As far as I could tell, most languages use their native word for "mouse" or "rat", while a sizable number use the English word, such as Italian and Korean. I only found one definite exception, Ido, an artificial language. read more
