Doing a graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering is a great option if you see by a long term perspective. You can always pursue your Masters in any field in the US or anywhere for that matter after you do your bachelors in biomedical as it has some parts from all fields mainly electronics. read more
Biomedical Engineering for undergrad is becoming more and more stigmatised as being less robust than a traditional mechE or EE degree. (Grad school is a different matter, although it can be similar in certain circumstances). What employers like more is a traditional degree with an emphasis in biology or biomedical engineering. read more
