I was accepted to both a state school and a expensive private one. I am grateful I was accepted to the state school. If I hadn't got in, I am not sure I would have gone to the more expensive school. Maybe if I were becoming a doctor, but a MSOT does not justify over $100,000 in debt. read more

An Associates degree to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is a lot cheaper and you will make decent money after graduation. You will also have less paperwork and hassle in your daily career which is definitely a bonus. read more

Since 2008 my answer was yes, but with the current emergence of OTA schools and bridge programs from an OTA Associates degree to a graduate degree, I have changed my answer to NO, (especially when talking about financial benefits). read more

Hey Patrick, if you have spent extensive time shadowing OTs and really want to do OT I recommend you go to an affordable school and only for for your master. 150,000 of debt for doctorate in OT is not worth it. read more
