I am still alive after having consumed eggplant peel a million times. So I can safely say that it’s not poisonous. In fact, I don’t think I have ever peeled an eggplant. There is more nutrition in the skin than in the flesh. That’s true for a potato too. I usually don’t peel potatoes either unless the recipe specifically calls for it. read more
