Not really. The human head & neck have limitations on how hot or cold something can be & not have a negative effect. Its different for all of us. I've never gotten a throat freeze from eating ice cream, but I have drinking a slushy. read more

Yeah, same: caused by too much cold too fast and the nerves in the brain act up somehow. But I only get throat freeze, which really hurts. I always thought I don't get brain freeze because my brain wobbles in my head too much and I may have severed some nerves up there or something. read more
