Is Adelaide more liveable than say, Melbourne or Sydney?

I live fairly centrally in Adelaide. In 15 minutes I can leave the city and be in the Adelaide hills, in 20 minutes I can be at the airport, or 30 minutes to the beach. It takes me 5 minutes to ride my bike to work, or 10 minutes into the city centre. I've been in one traffic jam in the last 3 years (though I usually bike). read more

As a backpacker I can tell you that Adelaide is more peaceful than Melbourne or Sydney with a lot of space and nature (forests, beaches), though the central is quite big and you can have fun. It's indeed less expensive than Melbourne and Sydney, depending on your budget and what you're looking for. read more
