I disagree with some of what's been posted here. Yes, Ilah means god in Arabic, but notice that here god is without a capital letter for G. Allah is the same name that was used by prophet Ibrahim pbuh (Abraham), prophet Moosah pbuh (Moses), prophet isa pbuh (jesus) and prophet Muhammad pbuh. Bagwad is another diety worshiped by Hindus.
