IMO, Anthropology (the Bachelor's degree most archaeologists in the U.S. get) is totally worth it. Anthropology offers broad training that is useful for a wide variety of jobs; an undergrad specialization in archaeology is useful for only one job, that of an archaeological field technician. read more
