Is Armenia a safe country for travelling alone?

After watching a documentary about Armenia, I really want to go there, I'm in love with this country. I Intend to visit there next november/2015. I'm going to travel alone. Yes, actually. If you're going through Yerevan, then, yes, it is safe and even pleasant. The rural areas could also be a pleasant experience, as hospitality is practiced by many, if not all, of the farmers or village-goers. read more

Safety - Armenia is one of the safest countries in the world, with very low crime level. I can barely remember any incidents with tourists involved, although the rare ones were quickly resolved by Police. read more

Remember if you do decide to travel to do your homework before hand. Armenia is the only one of the three countries that you listed that doesn't require a tourist visa. Always check travel.state.gov for any restrictions in the country you wish to travel. read more
