Is brook trout the healthiest, cleanest fish in the world?

I've caught everything from giant King Salmon in Alaska to huge Brown Trout in Montana to 23 species of fish in Florida, but brook trout are my passion. It saddens me that we haven't done more to protect, enhance, and cherish Maine's native brookies. read more

Brook trout live in the cold, clean waters of wilderness areas that tend to be the most untouched. When water conditions change, even a little, due to pollution or other factors, the brook trout disappears. read more
