Is carbon fiber a metal or just a sticker?

I work in the composites division of my company, and a bunch of us laugh at his car for having a fake carbon fiber hood. There is a bubble under the sticker in one area - ha! Real carbon fiber composite is made from graphite fibers (looks like hair) and a material to hold them in the right orientations. read more
