Being fit to hold office is a very low bar. Or if you meant because of the current scandal he should not hold office than plainly no. If Governor Christie ordered that the bridge lanes be shut down for a petty political dispute than he should be impeached for wasting the time of thousands of people and possibly endangering the lives of a few people. read more

No doubt the issue of obesity is a big one, especially as Washington debates health-care reform. The question is whether voters will hold it against Christie that he's overweight or write off the issue as just more dirty campaigning. read more
