In my personal opinion, i think painting is harder than drawing because lets say that drawing , you can be more accurate on sketching,shading,the use of techniques such as Mark making and the use of shapes you want to draw. Its most definitely harder to paint rather to draw. First off, it already is using skills from Drawing to do painting. You don't necessarily have draw the picture first, but you have to know how to lay out the image on the your surface. read more
