This outbreak of Ebola has killed more than the SARs outbreak. I'm presuming that's what you mean by more deadly. The official death toll from this Ebola outbreak was 3439 as of 3rd of October; it may well be over 4,000 by now (7th Oct). The official data tells us the SARs outbreak killed 775 people. read more
