When you were notified of your aid package (before the start of Fall term) it showed the full year of aid (for two semesters). Half the aid goes to fall, the other half to spring. That's the traditional way it is split. read more
An example of how Year-Round Pell (YRP) works A student with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $0 is eligible for $5920 in Pell grant for the year, or $2960 for the fall semester and $2960 for the spring semester. read more
Type of Financial Aid Year Round Pell Beginning with the 2017-2018 academic year, an eligible student may now receive full Federal Pell Grant for summer 2018 even if they received a full Federal Pell Grant during the fall and spring semesters. read more
Summer aid will only pay for classes in which you are enrolled in on June 5, 2018. Adding and dropping classes before June 5, 2018 or after can impact a student's eligibility. Dropping below six credit hours before or after receiving Year Round Pell could make a student ineligibile. read more
