Is gambling immoral?

Gambling is big business. Consider the following facts: * Nearly all states allow some form of legalized "gaming." Many allow legal casinos and even more have a lottery. In addition, much gambling is still illegal. * Americans gamble more money each year than they spend on groceries! read more

Gambling is not immoral by any stretch of the imagination. I'm sorry. It's just not. If the game is fixed or there is cheating involved, sure that is immoral, but that doesn't make the gambling itself immoral. It makes the person(s) involved in the fix immoral. read more
