I honestly found Algebra 1 much harder than Geometry. I never took Pre-Algebra and went directly to Algebra 1, so it may have altered my experience. It was a very big leap and getting introduced to variables and equations really messed me up. read more

Trust me, if it were just the geometry, it would be significantly easier than algebra 1. You look at the diagram, state a theorem, manipulate numbers, and poof! end of problem. The trick with geometry is that you’re also learning the concept of a mathematical proof. read more

I believe that geometry is MUCH easier than Algebra 1 - especially the 2nd semester of algebra 1 which a good chunk of time was spent on factoring and quadratic equations. The Algebra used in geometry is fairly basic - lots of 1 and 2 step equations. read more

To other people, especially for me, geometry was harder than algebra. In highschool, geometry is different to the other math classes like Algebra, Algebra 2 and precalculus(besides the trigonometry). Algebra is more straightforward while geometry requires you to think logically in order to solve a problem. read more
