Over the last few years in Georgia several transgender girls have been killed in their home. They are experiencing stigma and discrimination. The majority of the heterosexual males won't admit that they are friends with gay males. The church also is against gay people. read more

Georgia has anti-discrimination laws that prohibit anyone from targeting the LGBT community and enforces those laws however, being an Orthodox Christian country the conservative part of the population is against them and think that homosexuals/lesbians/bisexuals should be discriminated against because it is against the Christian values. read more
