It depends on why you’re there, really. I lived there from ‘98-’05 and I had a GREAT time. Obviously, I wasn’t a terrorist flown over to GTMO from somewhere in the Middle East, so I got to enjoy easy laid back island life. read more
Guantánamo Bay is a US detention camp established by President George W. Bush in 2002 in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks. It is located at a US military base on Cuba.
