If you are considering a career in Optometry it is highly recommended that you take 12U physics, biology and chemistry. You will need to spend a certain amount of hours observing a practicing optometrist. You will also need to take the Optometry Admission Test, a standardized test required by all programs. The test covers reading, physics, biology, chemistry and math. read more
