Is it difficult to find deer at Richmond park?

I don't think so, though I have only been to Richmond Park once. It was this summer during a Sunday afternoon and I ran around the perimeter of the park. I wasn't looking for any deer but I came across a bunch of deer and slowly walked towards them to take some pictures. They were not very timid at all. read more

Hi, a whole afternoon without seeing deer in Richmond Park, that’s bad luck. I go to Bushy park much more often than I go to Richmond Park, and in both parks I see deer almost every time I visit. But you need to keep your eyes peeled, sometimes all you see is their antlers, or a stray hind in the trees. read more

Richmond Park is a National Nature Reserve and deer park with 630 Red and Fallow deer roaming freely since 1637. The deer have played a major role in the park's history and have shaped the landscape too. read more
