The transit system is improving. When we bought our place in the NE quadrant in 2005, the last CTrain stop was quite a way south of us. The last NE stop was Whitehorn station(on the blue line), which is roughly located at 37th Ave NE. read more

As cities go, it probably benefits Calgary the least. It is a head office city. The bitumen is produced in Northern Alberta, so Edmonton probably benefits a bit more than Calgary. However, both Alberta and Canada as a whole benefit tremendously. read more
