It’s not usual but it’s normal that some kids don’t begin puberty until as late as 16. See your doctor if you are concerned, but this is a reasonably common occurrence. In boys puberty traditionally is expected between 12 and 16, though recent studies suggest it is starting as young as 10 these days. read more

If you go through puberty with the speed of a bullet overnight, you would still be considered to be going through an early puberty. I know it might seem otherwise, but it’s not at all abnormal to not have gone through puberty at 13. read more
