Absolutely okay! Indian and non Indian women both will look pretty in Saris with bindis. If you think that chakras (among other things) are nonsense then it seems to me like it would be hypocritical to wear a bindi just for looks. If you’re at least open to the idea, then go to and enjoy your bindi. Wear that bindi with traditional clothing, not with western clothing or hybrid outfits of indian and western clothing. read more
