Is it overkill to use Chevron for every fill-up?

I use regular, but I use Top Teir Gasoline , which in my case is Shell. .... I believe technron is some sort of nitrogen additive, which is already in our every-day fuel, and chevron puts it in as overkill and does nothing but serve as a ... Overkill no, slightly neurotic yes. Also, if you only use Chevron there are a number of states you won’t be able to drive to. All gas brands are pretty much the same. read more

I use a major brand top tier gas (which has some cleaners) and do a Techron concentrate add every 5-6,000 miles. That regement has worked well for me for about 1,200,000 miles on various vehicles( Saabs, Volvos, Subarus, Jeep 4.0). read more
