Force thawing shrimp does have a negative impact on flavor though. You are basically washing a ton of it away by running water over shrimp that was previously frozen. They can get water logged too. Order a few days ahead of your usage and thaw your shrimp under refrigeration. You’ll end up with a much better product. read more
