Is it safe to travel to Tripoli, Libya?

ive been invited to go to Tripoli next week for a business meeting. it would only be a 48hr trip and the visa has been taken care of, but i'm wondering how safe it is currently. i'm getting .... I have just returned from a month there. Yes, it is safe. I would recommend staying at the Corinthia Hotel if you have a choice. The security appeared slightly better than at the Radisson Blu. read more
