If you can't afford a 5S, I would say it's not worth getting an older iPhone if you want full support/usability into the future. I would probably research the best Android phones at your price point. The iPhone 5/5C is going to be 4 year old hardware soon, and while they are still great phones, speed/support will start to dwindle sooner. read more
