In 2006 Juarez was not really dangerous. O.K. granted, it was no girl scout camp then, either, but violence basically was confined within cartels, that would eliminate their members for whatever wrongdoings they would find in them. Not a daily occurence. There were no kidnappings, extorsions and the like. read more

That would be areas like Km 31, Av de los Aztecas, Anapra and overrall the outsides of Juarez. It really depends on your definition of bad. Some people think downtown Juarez is a shithole (it kinda is though) but its not extreme poverty bad. read more
