Best Answer: Martin Scorcese says this film is from his beliefs and his ideas--not necessarily "factually accurate." Believers know that God tests, not tempts. Temptations come from another source :) In theory there could have been temptation, but Jesus would not have indulged in the fantasies depicted in the movie. read more
