Yes, March is a good time but keep in mind that it may be chaotic if you arrive just before or during Easter. You might see light showers but I’ve had very good luck weather wise February/March. If you can avoid it I would never advise anyone to visit Rome in July or August. Besides being squashed in the city with tourists it is unbearably hot. read more
