Best Answer: It is perfectly fine and healthy to give not only cockatoos but ALL parrot species millet. You should give it as an occasionally treat and NEVER as a whole diet. It is perfectly fine for them so don't believe the internet claims that it is fattening or gives the birds tumors and such. read more
