Is Minecraft still worth buying?

I've been playing Minecraft for years on end. At the time of purchase, it was a mere 4$ USD. Now these days it costs a bit more, but that is your access pass to a giant community, who love to share their work, and imagination with others. read more

On PC: No not really Minecraft is in a bit of a transitional stage. It has been almost 2 years since the last major update (1.8) and 1.9 is still no where to be seen. This is mainly due to Minecraft being rewritten from it's current programming language of java, to the much more computer friendly c++. read more
