I'm not sure whether you mean North Carolina State University, which is 5 blocks from my house, or the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which my daughter presently attends. In either case the answer is yes. Both campuses have their own police force and a network of emergency call boxes, in addition to the city police. read more
