Plymouth State University evolved from Holmes Plymouth Academy, which dates back to 1808 as a pioneer institution for teacher training. The poet Robert Frost taught in Rounds Hall and lived on campus from 1911–1912. read more

Most students who live in Mary Lyon or Blair Hall have seen, or at least heard about, the tunnel. Back when Plymouth State University was still Plymouth College and had just become a co-ed school, there was a tunnel that connected Blair and Mary Lyon. read more
