I'm pretty sure we could demonstrate objectively, Radiohead have more "going on in the notes", as it were, though. Pink Floyd were more about soundscapes, not interesting chords, angular melodies and weird time signatures. I'd argue Radiohead added these to the 'Pink Floyd' sound. read more

Pink Floyd was definitely a great band compared to their contemporaries. Radiohead is definitely a great band now. Not many groups last as long as Radiohead while staying relevant. Their music is very unique and has a quality that is immediately recognizable. Like Floyd, Radiohead has gone through many phases. read more
