Nope. Robin Hood is a much misunderstood chap. Robin Hood stole the people’s taxes from the Sherriff of Nottingham and gave them back to the people. The equivalent today would be to steal the taxes back from the government and give it back to the rest of us. That's hardly communist. Communists support the govt taking our money. read more

Robin Hood would have lived around the 13th century, whereas neither Communism nor Socialism were formulated as political ideologies until well after that period (about the earliest you could argue would be the 16th century, though neither term was used until much later). read more
