I grew up there and can confidently say that yes it is a very safe place for black people. As others have stated, Santa Fe is a city that prides itself on being diverse, progressive-minded, etc. Having an economy predicated mostly on tourism, the city welcomes people from all over the world, regardless of ethnicity. read more
