Since Christianity (since we are focusing most likely on Christianity since Judaism does not have many problems with an actual Satan) is monotheistic Satan cannot be a god, but a fallen angel. This cannot be likely though. The bible does make hint to Satan having god like powers. read more
We believe satan is a created being, more analogous to an archangel than to God. We also believe the satan is a servant of God -that God will use even the distructive enmity of satan to accomplish His will. The awareness that even in his rebellion, he has served God may be part of his torment. read more
